Worry More About “Certainty” than “Uncertainty”
Uncertainty seemed to be the word of the week on Wall Street. Uncertainty this. Uncertainty that. Everywhere you turned, it was about uncertainty. We should be more worried about certainty than uncertainty. Uncertainty seemed to give courage to the bulls, who seem to claim that everyone is bearish, yet I see little evidence of that (we will tackle that at the end of today’s report). April 2nd is now being designated as Liberation Day. Presumably, we will get “certainty” on Liberation Day of what the U.S. tariff strategy is, and then markets can “rally” as we will now have “certainty” ...
